Ouch! I '
smashed' my knee yesterday, & until now I can't really walk properly. It's all internal bleeding and swelling and stuff. Shucks. Looks like my swim today is out. ): And dear ming went to give it a poke. I squirmed and squeaked real loud, so much that she was quite freaked out! :X Oh well..
Today after math lesson, dee, pet, chay & myself went for a little lunch at BK and neo-taking at Far East. And I was hobbling here and there, & yet I still wanted to run (actually not run, tip-toe) for the 190 bus at the rgs busstop! O_o dee was like, "chermaineee.. I think you run faster than us even with your (bruised) leg.." Well, I just didn't want to wait at that
moz-invested busstop and lose some more blood.
eww. And Chay is so super nice! She always helps me hold my bottle and 'support' me physically cos of my stupid knee. She rocks! :D And she got a few of us this nice dangling ring with our initials tied to it! So nice!
I really really luv those people. They are so sweet, nice, funny, funky etc etc. They basically rock.
About my math test on functions, I did ok, much better than my first test! And so,
Glory be to God! I could never have done it by myself! Really.. :D
There's this issue that has been going around with my buddies, as in
inwardly, & I hope I'll have the time to address it here. Some of them do read this, so you guys, cheer up. Life's not always looking up for everyone, so all we can do is just to be contented with what
is, not dwell on what
isn't.
Listen to
White Flag by Dido (like I'm doing now :P)!
I won't put my hands up, and surrender..

Today is
Loon's birthday!! Happy Birthday girl, & keep
groovin'! I'll bet your b'dae is as
funkae as you hoped! :)
Only I have this bad news (for some people at least). My dad just told me
Chen Shui Bian (
I think so..) won the Taiwan Elections, & my first reaction was kind of
(sad to say..) "ooh.. that's real nice..", which deserves a
smack on the face. I mean,
seriously, there are people around weeping with joy or anger at this news, but I'll never feel anything anyway, cos China politics are just
not my cup of milo.
Went on to inet class server for the
first time at home, & I am seriously
totally shockingly
real-lost-for-words-ly
shocked at the amount of work there. It's almost like writing a whole novel, with bits of chemistry, physics, lit, math and everything else all jumbled into one. And the real
funny thing is I haven't
started on the holiday homework yet. *laughs* It's so scary it's actually funny. & can I add that I have a little sports 2 times next week, choir 3 times, tuitions 3 times and music lessons twice?
*laughs harder* It just gets funnier and funnier.
*Note: This is me going nutty.
So anyway, I went to watch
The Haunted Mansion starring Eddie Murphy, which was a neat movie with all that sound effects & jokes, but if you really want a
solid movie, don't watch it. It's pretty scary according to my standards (I've never watched a true blue horror flick before in my life), and it's a Walt Disney film, so yup,
'nuff said.

Choir camp rocked! It's one of those camps which are just so proportionate-- timings, food, bathing time, sleeping time.. Organised!
Well, we had to report to school at 7.45am, which isn't exactly an
earthly hour, but it was better than 6am or sth. So anyway, the
highlights of the camp were the station games, the night walk and the urban walk! Man.. I was in charge of one of the station games
Fill-the-Bucket, which is like, getting people to
immerse themselves and their clothes into
violet dye, and then run to another pail to
squeeze all of the dye out of their shirts. I got pretty many
death stares, but not as many as the station where the groups had to dump their butts on tomato ketchup, bbq sauce, flour and soap or sth. That was super gross, but very fun to watch! :X
After the games and cleaning up, everyone went to clean up & bathe, but my busking group-
Nutella- stayed to play the water bomb game again! We were laughing so hard it was crazy! We had to transport water bombs using our tees, and some of the bombs had violet dyes, & we were so focussed it was cute! And then we tried
two bombs at a time, & you could literally
see the sweat drops on our foreheads. That was such a cool time bonding that mae-mae kept proclaiming how much she loved Nutella!
It seems that everywhere we go, my busking group will never fail to busk. :) Everytime we got together, one of us will definitely go
"wanna busk?", then we'll stand in this tight circle and give the D major chord. Man.. I just
love my busking group! Hehe. (btw, we've all got nutty names like, peanut, groundnut etc. I'm pecan
nut!)
Sleeping time was the craziest time of the camp! Sarah, Sooni, YiLyn, Xin Zi & me couldn't stop giggling at goodness knows what! Sarah would always come up with some super corny joke, then we'll laugh ourselves to bits! One example: Say p-o-s-t. Then say m-o-s-t. Ok, what do you put into a toaster? The answer is bread, but I said
toast naturally, & then Sarah started giggling like mad, which passed around to the rest of the people, and we giggled through the night. :P I think we giggled for 10 min non-stop! wow.
The
urban hike was cool. We had to run around Orchard Road looking for seniors holding those clues. E.g. we had this card which said
Richard Reef, and then Kelly somehow was certain it meant the aquarium at Wisma, so we ran there and found nat & debbie! In the end, my team- Lisa, Shuen, Geet, Kel & me- won first prize! Yeah man! :)
For our concert coming up, we're going to do Mozart's
Magic Flute for our musical section, and it's totally groovin'! I'm one of the 3 sisters, at the first section of the show, & it'll be pretty fun working with yiwei, sooni, catherine & charity! Whoo hoo! And looni is
the Queen!! In case anyone's going
So what?, the Queen has to sing a high, high,
high D, meaning from middle C, the next
next octave! This I feel, is
madness, but hey, Looni can definitely pull it off! :) You go girl!
So anyway, my bro's at Sembawang at his Leadership training camp. I miss my lil bro!! Really hope he's having fun.. *prays*

Ny people came back from obs on friday! Called KX already, but couldn't talk much cos I was at swim carn! Sorry dear.. But I would really want to know more about how stuff went yeah? And then I also realised that denise(scg) had Jon for her instructor as well.. When I called her we just went like screaming all over the place, until like, her brother had to type back that she was too busy screaming to reply me or something. She simply adores the guy. :)
So anyway, at swim carn, I had this huge headache, but it kind of went away after I met my busking group and we sang our dear song. :D It's mind-relieving to sing with people who just simply love it too! And now that it's the holidays, I just want to accomplish maybe, 3 movies? I seriously need some destressing thing. And I'll definitely have to step up on my swimming, cos to tell the truth I have been slacking pretty bad. My number of laps so far is still a pathetic zero from this week. But after swim carn I have observed how those really fast swimmers went, and I guess I learnt a few special "techniques". Those people can really
swim!
Haven't gotten any of my tests back, but this is the first time that I know I will fail my Physics test. I mean, there's this rumour going that if you can get 6/20 for it, you're super smart. >.< Wow. But I
did my best, and if my best isn't enough for my to pass, then so be it man. What's the use of
sleepless nights?
Took lots of neos actually, and I had to dig real deep into my pocket to fish those $$ out. I think I took about 5 different neos with 4 different groups of people this week. It's getting crazy.
I know this song is kind of old, but I like Overprotected! The beat totally rocks! I like the starting especially. Anyway, my mum bought be Piano Songs, the new cd that's selling now. Mum rocks man. She really knows what I want! If you like
quality songs (not those
ooh baby baby crap), then you should really get it! Starts of with Elton John's Your Song. It's so sweet!
So anyway, going church now! Yeah! I totally love Sundays!
