Choir camp rocked! It's one of those camps which are just so proportionate-- timings, food, bathing time, sleeping time.. Organised!
Well, we had to report to school at 7.45am, which isn't exactly an
earthly hour, but it was better than 6am or sth. So anyway, the
highlights of the camp were the station games, the night walk and the urban walk! Man.. I was in charge of one of the station games
Fill-the-Bucket, which is like, getting people to
immerse themselves and their clothes into
violet dye, and then run to another pail to
squeeze all of the dye out of their shirts. I got pretty many
death stares, but not as many as the station where the groups had to dump their butts on tomato ketchup, bbq sauce, flour and soap or sth. That was super gross, but very fun to watch! :X
After the games and cleaning up, everyone went to clean up & bathe, but my busking group-
Nutella- stayed to play the water bomb game again! We were laughing so hard it was crazy! We had to transport water bombs using our tees, and some of the bombs had violet dyes, & we were so focussed it was cute! And then we tried
two bombs at a time, & you could literally
see the sweat drops on our foreheads. That was such a cool time bonding that mae-mae kept proclaiming how much she loved Nutella!
It seems that everywhere we go, my busking group will never fail to busk. :) Everytime we got together, one of us will definitely go
"wanna busk?", then we'll stand in this tight circle and give the D major chord. Man.. I just
love my busking group! Hehe. (btw, we've all got nutty names like, peanut, groundnut etc. I'm pecan
nut!)
Sleeping time was the craziest time of the camp! Sarah, Sooni, YiLyn, Xin Zi & me couldn't stop giggling at goodness knows what! Sarah would always come up with some super corny joke, then we'll laugh ourselves to bits! One example: Say p-o-s-t. Then say m-o-s-t. Ok, what do you put into a toaster? The answer is bread, but I said
toast naturally, & then Sarah started giggling like mad, which passed around to the rest of the people, and we giggled through the night. :P I think we giggled for 10 min non-stop! wow.
The
urban hike was cool. We had to run around Orchard Road looking for seniors holding those clues. E.g. we had this card which said
Richard Reef, and then Kelly somehow was certain it meant the aquarium at Wisma, so we ran there and found nat & debbie! In the end, my team- Lisa, Shuen, Geet, Kel & me- won first prize! Yeah man! :)
For our concert coming up, we're going to do Mozart's
Magic Flute for our musical section, and it's totally groovin'! I'm one of the 3 sisters, at the first section of the show, & it'll be pretty fun working with yiwei, sooni, catherine & charity! Whoo hoo! And looni is
the Queen!! In case anyone's going
So what?, the Queen has to sing a high, high,
high D, meaning from middle C, the next
next octave! This I feel, is
madness, but hey, Looni can definitely pull it off! :) You go girl!
So anyway, my bro's at Sembawang at his Leadership training camp. I miss my lil bro!! Really hope he's having fun.. *prays*
