Weird, funny, irritating things have been happening to me lately, and it has proved trying to ignore idiosyncrasies. I guess the irritating bits proved more nasty in memory than the nice bits.
Annoying factor 1
I was on the bus on my way home, and then these group of guys (probably sec4s) boarded the bus, but never mind that they earned dirty looks from the other passengers for all that annoying high-pitched wails they emitted which I guess was suppose to sound like laughter.
So anyway, they sat right at the back of the bus and shared their conversation with the whole bus. One of the guys had a girlfriend who was royally peeved with him (or so everyone gathered), and so he was sending his "sincere" apologies through sms. The major problem was that his friends were so busy coaching him what to say to a sulking gf that they forgot that in an enclosed space, people usually lower their volume..
So they were telling their friend how he must remember to add many
"i
love you"s to '
soften' her, and the guy was laughing and telling everyone how if he said that, she'll probably reply with an i-love-you-too, and QUOTE "
that would really get me somewhere" UNQUOTE.
I was, :O. Hmm. If you listen to too much of that, you'll probably be used to jerks.
