Le Grand Voyage: Humans movie outing! Headache, pained ankle, and warm fuzzy feeling I am
rather emotionally exhausted right now, after the terribly frightening sprint all the way home, and of course the movie itself. While running home with my heavy bag and blurry eyes in the dim lighting of moth-infested streetlamps, I kept hearing some weird guy behind me, and he was walking behind me the
whole 16 min journey. I proceeded to become
extremely paranoid and freaked out, and so decided to quicken my half-running pace.
The guy was just behind whistling some weird thing, and so I thought about
Red Dragon or that scary cannibal movie I watched once, and become more than
marginally freaked out. I grabbed my phone and started to dial the only person that came to mind, who happens to have a school extremely near my place.
Because
no one picked up the phone, that was the final straw that broke the merlion's claw. I ran all the way home like some
half-crazed dimwit afraid of her own shadow (
haha no not funny). In my anxiety to get home, I
missed a step, and proceeded to tumble down the short flight of stairs. I may have internal bleeding, but that remains to be seen. No
actually, all that happened was I twisted my left ankle again.
Yes,
again. I have a weak left knee, so naturally my left ankle tends to be very off, so I sprain / twist it at any time, any place. The last time this happened was in France. How
happening.
So yes, here marks the end of my ankle rant.
As for the movie, it was fantastic if and
only if you have someone to discuss it with. If not all the nuances you've missed out, or the significance that seemed so insignificant would be just lost in translation. (Will speak of movie in due course.)
Tomorrow..
