The starfruit from ivy's tree is very nice! Thank yoo ivy, yumyumyum. (: That was my first experience cutting starfruit. I am so accomplished I have to write that in my personal statement. They need more fruit choppers in this world.
Decided to engage in a little fruit shopping today. Wanted to drop by Jason's (orchard) to pick up some novel goodies, but the sun was blistering, so it was cold storage for me (:
I was about to get some NZ apples when the saleslady pounced up from nowhere and shoved a piece of apple at me and extolled the virtues of
french apples. I have never heard of french apples in all 18 long years of life, but she was adamant that they were 'sweet, juicy, red, crunchy, dropdown list of adjectives.'
They were alright. So for the record, french apples are alright. Haha.
But she was so jovial I had to get some I guess.
